Important update: Interreg Danube Region Programme 2021-2027 Second Call Postponed

02-10-2023
The Interreg Danube Region Programme (DRP) announces the postponement of its highly anticipated Second Call for Proposals, originally scheduled for 2nd October 2023, by 3 weeks. This decision comes as a result of necessity for the Monitoring Committee to analyse the results of the first call and to make possible changes depending on availability of funds for the second call.

New Dates to Remember:
  • Opening Date of the Second Call: End of October 2023
  • Call Deadline: End of March 2024
Despite this postponement, we would like to encourage all potential applicants to continue their project development efforts in collaboration with partners within the Danube Region area.

To support applicants during this time, a series of informative webinars is scheduled for October. These webinars will delve into crucial aspects of the topics of the programme, including partnership and eligibility of partners, eligibility of expenditure, intervention logic, and the assessment of project proposals. These sessions are designed to provide comprehensive insights and guidance for prospective applicants.

In addition to the general webinars for lead applicants, thematic webinars focusing on specific objectives (SOs) within the Second Call are available, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of their chosen areas of interest. National Info Days organized by National Contact Points also offer further opportunities for applicants to learn more about our funding.

Excitingly, the “DRP Applicant Community”, will be opening soon. This new match-making platform will give registered users access to all our online events, news about upcoming funding and networking opportunities and most importantly, will facilitate finding partners and building a consortium to develop project ideas.

The DRP team is dedicated to ensuring a smooth and successful application process and invites interested potential applicants to reach out with any questions or for additional information.

We are sorry for any inconveniences these changes might cause.
