The First Policy Dialogue Workshop & 1st transnational workshp, organised by PBN

 
 

During 21 - 22 of January, 2020, Pannon Business Network has organized two important events within the framework of Danube S3 Cluster, namely: the 1st Policy Dialogue Workshop and the Priority Setting Transnational Workshop. The events gathered representatives of public administration, representatives of Priority Areas 7 - "To develop the Knowledge Society (research, education and ICT" and 8 - "To support the competitiveness of enterprises, including cluster development”", as well as the project partners and stakeholders which have discussed the actions and provisions of the Danube S3 Cluster Strategy.

FIRST MILESTONE OF DANUBE S3 CLUSTER REACHED

 
 

At the beginning of March, Steinbeis 2i GmbH finished the Transnational Analysis of Danube Regional Context and Cluster Innovation Potential. This document takes stock of different activities carried out in the first half of the project and represents the first project milestone of Danube S3 Cluster. It synthesizes the findings of 11 regional analyses on cluster innovation potential and of the 205 innovation audits conducted by the project partners.

PRESENTATION OF DANUBE S3 CLUSTER AND CIRCULAR BIOECONOMY AT WINTER SEMINAR OF FARMERS ASSOCIATION KLUB 100P+

 
 

Farmers Association Klub 100P+ from Serbia has typical feature of cluster, but, due to lack of national legislation, this status has not be jet declared. This Association is seriously considered to be involved in Danube S3 Cluster project activities, especially in Local Action Plan Business Models that Work in Circular Economy.

During this event, Prof. Milan Martinov, representing our project partner - Faculty of Technical Science - Serbia, presented Danube S3 Cluster project, with a focus on the Local Action Plan related to circular bioeconomy, elaborated within the project.

WORKSHOP ON AGRICULTURE AND CLIMATE CHANGE 

 
 

IFKA team participated in a workshop about „Agriculture and climate change – Possibilities to reduce agricultural emissions” organized by CEEweb and EUKI (European Climate Initiative) in Budapest, Hungary on 30 January 2020. The event was a great opportunity to get more information about mitigation and adaptation practices in agriculture in general and to get familiar with specific cases in Hungary, current policy development process and good practices.

EIT FOOD GOVERNMENT EXECUTIVE ACADEMY

 

The EIT Food Government Executive Academy 2020 will take place between 17th – 19th June 2020 in Warsaw, Poland. The Academy is a special advisory and capacity building program that offers insights into challenges related to food systems innovations, Research and Innovation Smart Specialization Strategies and regulations.

8th of April 2020 - The 4th Steering Comittee of the project, conducted via skype

 

The 2nd Policy Dialogue Workshop, planned to be organised on 8th April 2020 in Bratislava, was posponed, due to the pandemic situation. Thus, the project partners adapted to the new working environment  and decided to conduct the 4th SCOM meeting online, on Skype, on the same day as previously scheduled, April 8 2020.
