Youth Video Contest

 

Winners announced!

 

The ConnectGREEN Youth Video Contest “Connectivity for all” ended on Friday, 14 May.

26 short films were submitted by youth of various age groups from Romania, Serbia and Slovakia, all of which centred on the wild animals that coexist alongside us, how this close proximity can be very dangerous for wildlife, and what we can do to help. The videos were submitted within different categories, depending on the age of the contestants.

The organisers of the Contest would like to congratulate all contestants on their excellent submissions, all of which can be viewed here.

 

The winners are:

For Slovakia:

Category I : “Animal Connectivity” – 159 votes

Category II: “Help for Animals” – 398 votes

Category IlI: “The Memory”

The winning video of the Contest Category IIl in Serbia, which received submissions from university students, was declared by an expert jury comprised of Dr. Sanja Simonović Alfirević, Borjan Brankov and Aleksandra Gajić of the Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial planning of Serbia.
