The new Monitoring Committee has a good start

20-12-2022

On 5-6 December 2022, the first meeting of the new Monitoring Committee (MC) of the Danube Region programme took place in Budapest.

The representatives from 14 countries participating in the new programme agreed on the rules of procedure of the new MC and discussed the programme implementation plan.

At the meeting, the MC approved with conditions the 12 EUSDR priority area coordinators projects, as well as the Danube Strategy Point project.

The Committee also agreed on the 2nd call for proposals to be launched in the end of 2023 and to discuss the potential seed money facility call for proposals with the EUSDR governance bodies.

It was also agreed that the next MC meeting will be held online at the end of April 2023. The selection of Expressions of Interests from the first call to continue in the second step application phase is planned to take place at this meeting.

For us at the MA/JS it was a pleasure to welcome the new MC members at our premises and we look forward to work together in the years to come.

Let the good work begin!
