Safe Cycling Routes Toolkit (SCRT), one of the Sabrina Project results, is a modular interactive online decision-making support tool which guides users through the process of defining new cycling routes as well as improvements of existing ones, with respect to cycling safety. SCRT is based on three road safety and cycling route assessment methodologies (iRAP, CycleRAP and ECS), as well as available research on the impact of infrastructure on cyclist’s safety.

The assessment modules provided by the tool are NOT a replacement for any of methodologies utilised within the SCRT! Rather, modules are intended to be used as a way to estimate safety results and a price for a given cycling route infrastructure layout without much previous knowledge of aforementioned cycling route assessment methodologies.
