MAK educational workshops (WP T1.1)

MAK accomplished 7 educational programs (guided tours and workshops) and received all of the needed 100 evaluation tools. Regarding this activity, MAK focused on 3 different age groups: 7-10, 11-14 and 15-18 years.

The following procedure has been used: First the MAK educational video “FROM VIENNESE MODERNISM TO THE PRESENT”  has been sent to the teachers via e-mail and the kids watched it in class. At the day of the program, they started with a guided tour through the museum in order to get an insight about Art Nouveau. Afterwards the AN2-workshops occurred, during which the kids got the opportunity to create Art Nouveau objects, to design Art Nouveau house facades and to become an Art Nouveau typographer. Furthermore, a photographer has documented 2 of the programs, in order to publish the pictures on the MAK social media channels.
