ARCHEODANUBE - Yesterday-today-tomorrow tool - available for the public

08-06-2022

We are very pleased to announce that a new digital tool called Yesterday-today-tomorrow is now available to the public. The tool helps users to choose the most suitable solution for the presentation of archaeological heritage in archaeological parks or similar areas.

The Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, in cooperation with the company 3APPES, has developed this new digital tool in the form of a web application within the ArcheoDanube project (Archaeological Park in urban areas as a tool for Local Sustainable Development, Interreg Danube Transnational Programme). On a global scale, the tool is a complete novelty, as there is no comparable tool on the market yet.

The new digital tool is suitable for anyone who wants to establish a new archaeological park or modernize an existing one or simply wants to present archaeological remains in other areas. It guides the user through a detailed questionnaire about the specifics of the archaeological site and the user's wishes. Based on the answers given, the tool provides most suitable solutions for presenting archaeological remains.

The use of the tool is completely free. Users can use the tool as many times as they want, they can try out different scenarios and maybe get new ideas for presenting archaeological remains.
