ARTNOUVEAU2 – MUO EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP

MUO has designed and started implementing educational workshops for the groups from primary and secondary schools in Zagreb. The activities are focused on the young generation who is interested in the stylistic period of the Art Nouveau.

The goal is to promote the most important architectural works and creators of the Art Nouveau heritage of the Danube region in general, with special focus on Croatian works of art. The programme gives an insight to the Art Nouveau style via identification of the characteristic architectural features, with a focus on the characteristics of the style.

 The educational tools used in this activity are evaluation tool, educational powerpoint presentation and short documentary videos. The creative wokshops consist of making improvised stained glass, making clay tiles and making silver wire jewelry with Art Nouveau motifs.
