Our project partners met in Feldbach, Austria from 13th to 14th April at the SCOM meeting and study visit. Main aims of the meeting were to present a progress and next steps for the strategy development, progress and next steps for the marketing plan and activities, explain all details about the explorer tour for partners. We discuss what can be the main lessons learn from the study visit in Austria and how to apply them in the Amazon of Europe Destination. 

We combined the project meeting with study visit of the Styrian Vulcanoland. The trip takes us along the Vulkanland Route 66. At Kornberg Castle, the historic center of the Schlösserstraße, we experienced a personal tour of the family history of the Bardeaus at Kornberg Castle. We visited Josef Zotter's chocolate company and tried different chocolates. At Vulcano Ursprung we experienced the world of ham. The modern inclined lift took us to the 482m high volcanic rock to the castle Riegersburg. In castle museum, witch museum and weapons museum we got to know life in the 17th century. And finally we visited Krispel estate in Neusetz, where we get to know and tried their wines and meat products.
