TRAINING FOR TOURIST GUIDES

MUO (Museum of Arts and Crafts Zagreb) in cooperation with Zagreb Tourist Guides Organisation and Zagreb City Libraries

Training for tourist guides was organized in cooperation with Zagreb Tourist Guides Organisation and Zagreb City Libraries, on Thursday, March 24th 2022 at Multimedia hall of the central City library within the international project ART NOUVEAU2 - Strengthening the cultural identity of the countries of the Danube region based on the common heritage of ART NOUVEAU.

    

The lecturer of this training was Marina Bagarić, PhD, museum advisor and head of the MUO Architecture Collection who gave the targeted audience detailed insight on the itinerary of the designed tour of the most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings. The target audience of the training were primarily tourist guides and employees in tourist organizations, as well as professionals engaged in creating a tourist product based on art and cultural heritage. The goal of this training was to educate tourist guides how to offer tourists and locals specialized tours visiting the most important buildings of the Art Nouveau era in Zagreb, Croatia.
