Danube´s Archaeological eLandscapes - Successful start of the series of mobility actions in Zagreb

14-02-2022

Arheološki muzej u Zagrebu - AMZ started as the first partner in the series of our mobility actions in September 2021. During these weeks, national and international archaeological curators and heritage managers meet to achieve better communication and more vital networking between significant actors in cultural tourism in the Danube region. Visitors interested in the history and archaeological heritage of the cooperating countries are also invited in these days full of archaeology, the latest virtual technologies and scientific knowledge.

The Mobility Action group of the Danube's Archaeological e-Landscapes went also on a field excursion to Kaptol, Požeško-Slavonska, Croatia in the Požega Valley. After a trip uphill to the tumuli and the settlement, led expertly by our expert prof. Hrvoje Potrebica, we had a chance to try some Hallstatt food, prepared by our local stakeholders Stari Fenjeri. An unforgettable trip as you can see from the group photo. Definitely a recommendation for anyone interested in the Iron Age!
