Art Nouveau architecture and interior design; the art of Albert Kálmán Kőrössy

In the second educational short film of the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts, our expert talks about the close connection between Art Nouveau architecture and interior design through the examples of several outstanding buildings of the city. We take a look at the home of the turn-of-the-century art collector, György Ráth, then the home of the architect Albert Kálmán Kőrössy and several other buildings designed by this acknowledged architect. We shall observe Art Nouveau motifs on artifacts, on exterior and interior walls, on windows and stairway railings. All these features will unveil the unparalleled talent of this young architect and the splendid era of Art Nouevau. Would you like to join us for a walk in the past?
