INDEED AT KREMS CONFERENCE 2021

The INDEED project was presented in the 3rd KREMS Dementia Conference “From Reaction to Action“ that took place in a virtual format in the period October 28th to 30th 2021.

The presentation “The INDEED online platform - an example for digital and interdisciplinary dementia education”, authored and presented by Lea Pfaeffel, Julia Wögerbauer and Georgeta Popovici, highlighted the project idea and the project results – the multilingual online learning course and the 16 workshops for promoting the online course and piloting a blended-learning approach on the online learning platform.

Aspects of course evaluation were presented, showing that the INDEED intervention is a valuable complement to existing vocational trainings, helps to enlarge knowledge about dementia, contributes to the enhancing and strengthening of the interprofessional collaboration with real benefits for professionals and improves knowledge on business-related aspects of providing services for people with dementia. The sustainability efforts in Austria were also emphasised in the final part of the presentation.

The presentation aroused a lively interest from the participants, the online learning course being highly appreciated, and it has been followed by a series of questions answered by Lea Pfaeffel.
