Czech project partner Ametyst NGO organizes the Conference of Environmental Education of Pilsen County every year. There are mainly teachers who coordinate an environmental education at schools in the auditorium. This year was the topic of the conference „Ecological footprint“. Because European Green Belt could be taken in as a huge ecological footprint of the history in the European landscape, Klara Tydlitatova presented the idea of EGB and the aims of the project D2C. The topic provides opportunities to teachers to teach their pupils and students interdisciplinarily and show them how the Iron Curtain have affected human beings and nature as well.
