Co-organized by EIBIP with the support of Pro Danube International, the high-level event brought together European and national policy makers, as well as representatives of the sector, to present the most innovative solutions inland waterway transport (IWT) has to offer in reaching the European Union´s ambitious goal to significantly reduce the emission rates of the transport system.

By emphasizing the crucial contribution of IWT in the more than challenging transnational decarbonisation process initiated by the EU, its unique potential of further strengthening the development of the Single Market and its integration capacity in the international transport and logistics chains, the event informed the interested audience on the concrete advantages of the following innovative vessels:
