Our International Biking festival 2019 is slowly coming to an end. There are two more events happening this weekend, on Saturday, 19th October 2019. 

The first one is the "Biking and fish tour", organized by the Municipality of Apatin. The tour will take you from Apatin to the beach on Danube/Special nature reserve "Upper Danube".

Meeting place and start: Apatin, Center of city, City Fountain (“Maxi” and “Idea” Market’s parking place) at 10.00 a.m.

Route of the tour:     Apatin center - embankment on the Danube at the Pier (Dock) and at the The Temple of the Council of the Holy Apostles – Special Nature Reserve “Upper Danube” – Marina – Beach on the Danube, Motel and restaurant „Plava ruza”  and back on the same route.

Programme:

9.45 – 10.00 - Registration

10.00  - Start of the tour

10.30 – A short stop on the embankment at the Pier and The Temple of the Council   of the Holy Apostles (Photo shooting)

11:30 - A short stop on the Beach on the Danube, at the Motel (distributing brochures and promo gifts to the Festival participants)

12.30 – 15.00 - Promotional activities (Short presentations on“Upper Danube”, on fish species and project “AoE Bike Trail”) and lunch in Public company for management to passenger PORTS and MARINES

15.30 - Arrival  to center of Apatin

Characteristics of the tour:

• Distance (back and forth): 25-30 km,
• Period of time: 3 hours,
• For participants of festival, lunch/fish stew is ensured at Marina,
• Promotional gifts and refreshment are ensured for all cyclists,
• Bike tour will be held with police escort,
• Awards for the youngest and oldest cyclist will be handed out!
