An updated version of the document on frequently asked questions (FAQ) regarding engines in inland navigation was recently published. Based on the fruitful collaboration between CESNI (European committee for drawing up common standards in the field of inland navigation) and EUROMOT (European Association of Internal Combustion Engine Manufacturers), the main objective of the updated document is to help the IWT sector to clearly understand the new European legislative requirements (NRMM and ES-TRIN) that directly affect inland navigation vessel engines.
