Danube Energy+ - FIRST REGIONAL ALLIANCE MEETING AND 1ST REGIONAL NETWORKING EVENT IN PARDUBICE, CZECH REPUBLIC

Our Czech project partner E-KLASTR had their Regional Allainace meeting together with the 1st Regional Networking event on 5th of March in Pardubice, Czech Republic at P-PINK premisses.

The Regional Alliance meeting was opened by the representative of the Pardubice Region Council, Mrs. Hana Štěpánová, who is responsible for regional development, European funds and innovation.She highlighted the work of P-PINK,
who has already done a great deal of work in the short term after its establishment, with the city and the
region contributing CZK 1.5 million to its operation. The establishment of the RA  is a good step in the direction
of regional development of the Pardubice region.
Petr Bažant from PowerHUB introduced the current status of the Interreg Danube Energy + project to the Alliance
members, presented the status of the development of the  Danube Energy+ TOOL and the next steps within the project as well as upcoming events. 

During the Regional Alliance meeting  the main obligations and responsibilities for RA members were introduced, as well as the pre-final Regional mapping on the Innovators status quo in Energy Efficiency. Regional Alliance members took the chance to give their feedback in order to improve and  finalize the Mapping based on their specific expertiseand experience.

After a short coffee break, the meeting continued with the Regional Network Thursday.The event had a relatively large number of participants, including five mayors, all members of RA, representatives of the City of Pardubice, representatives of the Pardubice Region, Director of the Regional Chamber of Commerce, Vice-Rector of the University of Pardubice, representatives of municipal authorities also Chrudim, Svitavy, Přelouč, Letohrad, Hlinsko, Litomyšl and others, representatives of the Regional Development Fund and representatives of the CzechInvest Regional and Business Support Agency.
Project manager at partner PowerHUB, Petr Bazant, presented the project Interreg Danube Energy+After the introduction of the Interreg program and the Danube Energy + project and its objectives, information on the upcoming events with TOOL and PACKAGE as well as the subsequent Pilot phase and the final establishment of the HUB in the Pardubice Region followed.This was followed by SME presentations with their innovative projects.
