On 03.04.2019, the Bulgarian project partner - Cleantech Bulgaria organized their First Regional Communication event - First Regional Networking Thursday in Bulgaria. Participants in the meeting were representatives of the target groups – young innovators and regional ecosystem actors. A presentation of the Danube Energy+ project, as well as of the opportunities it provides, was made. It was highlighted that within the project will be implemented and tested a pre-acceleration programme for young entrepreneurs with energy efficiency ideas and an educational programme for key representatives of the innovation ecosystem. 10 young innovators will be given the chance to participate in the pre-acceleration programme and develop their business ideas in the sphere of energy efficiency. In addition, a Danube Energy+ hub will be established for support of young innovators after the end of the project.

After the coffee break, the participants exchanged ideas in the sphere of energy efficiency and an active discussion in this topic took place.

The meeting was finalized with a short press conference and networking between the participants.
