MURSKA SOBOTA, SLOVENIA – In December 2018 the final workshop in the series titled “Action Plan for Habitat Restoration in Natura 2000 Site Mura” was organised by the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Nature Conservation (IRSNC) at the Pomurska gospodarska zbornica in Murska Sobota.

The workshop was attended by representatives of nine municipalities, four regional development agencies and representatives of external experts (Slovenian Water Agency, Iskriva Institute, Slovenia Forest Service, Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry of Slovenia and Pomgrad – VGP, d.d.).

After an initial welcome speech the Action Plan for Habitat Restoration in the Natura 2000 Site Mura was presented. The presentations were followed by an interactive workshop, where all attendees had an opportunity to share their opinion and provide feedback regarding the Action Plan. The Workshop was also an opportunity for networking and development of common ideas for future activities in the Biosphere Reserve Mura, Slovenia.
