Danube S3 Cluster - Capitalization activity with COSME Programme in Brussels!

Danube S3 Cluster project, member of Thematic Pole 1 - Innovative Ecosystems for SMEs, will be presented at the Enterprise Europe Network Sector Group Chair meeting in Brussels.

Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) will organize during 11th -12th of December 2018, the Sector Group Chair meeting, where South Muntenia Regional Development Agency (SMRDA), as Lead Partner, has been invited to present Danube S3 Cluster project, funded by Danube Transnational Programme. The main objective of this project is to leverage the innovation-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Danube area by developing smart and coordinated cluster policies in the context of RIS3, to enhance innovation management knowledge and skills and foster transnational cluster cooperation in Agro-Food sector.

The Enterprise Europe Network helps businesses innovate and grow on an international scale. It is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions. The Network is active in more than 60 countries worldwide and is funded by European Commission through COSME Programme. It brings together 3,000 experts from more than 600 member organizations – all renowned for their excellence in business support.

The Sector Groups chair (SG) aims to promote cross-sectoral partnership and create links between complementary sectors. By exchanging experiences, the members of the SGs contribute to knowledge creation and competences building in the Network.

SMRDA is member of EEN, being the Coordinator of PROSME project, funded by COSME Programme. The overall objective of the project is to ensure access to business development services through transnational cooperation of high quality, free and easily accessible provided by Enterprise Europe Network.

In this capacity, SMRDA will participate to Sector Groups on 11-12 of December and will present Danube S3 Cluster project as a good example of EEN involvement into the regional Smart Specialisation Strategies and use the lessons learned and create complementarities between the two funding instruments (COSME and Danube Transnational Programme).
