The DAPhNE consortium is pleased to invite you to the official Kick-off event of their transnational project taking place in Budapest on 20th February 2017 starting at 11:00 a.m. CET.

Danube Ports Network project aims to facilitate a balanced development of Danube ports. Its main objectives are:

• Know-how transfer for a common Danube port development strategy
• Inter-sectoral & transnational cooperation for better port services
• Innovative IT solutions for the Danube Port community

The event is designed to raise awareness of the objectives and activities of the project and provide information to the public and stakeholders on the expected results and benefits.

Nine countries of the Danube region will be represented by the partner organisations and also key stakeholders of the future Danube ports development are invited. Public bodies like ministries and port authorities/administrations, private port operators, port associations as well as specialized consultancy firms, logistics companies and universities can be found among the participants.

The event will be hosted by the Hungarian Federation of Danube Ports and the language of the event will be English.
