DA-SPACE - Kick-off meeting of the Open Innovation Lab in Croatia and Training Mentors workshop

Juraj Dobrila University of Pula and the Region of Istria held a kick-off meeting for the project´s participants, which also served as an opening workshop of the first lab’s cycle. The Training Mentors workshop was held by the lab manager in order to introduce mentoring techniques and methods based on the DA-SPACE model. During the kick-off meeting, the mentors formally presented their challenges to the teams of solvers. For the purpose of introducing the mentors to the assigned teams, the event included networking.

The event took place on February 19, 2018 at the premises of the Faculty of Economics and Tourism “Dr. Mijo Mirković”.

The kick-off meeting attracted all actors of the project (seekers, solvers, associates and UNIPU/ISTRIA project team members) who had the opportunity to discuss all important issues during the meeting and networking.

17 participants took place at the Training Mentors workshop and 36 at the kick-off event.

The event also fulfilled the social media aspect as the information about it was published on the UNIPU/ISTRIA website.

Juraj Dobrila University of Pula is a higher education institution, and the Region of Istria is a unit of regional self-government. Both are partners of the DA-SPACE project. The DA-SPACE Open Innovation Lab Croatia has been established in Juraj Dobrila University’s main building with the support of the Region of Istria.
