08-03-2018

The closing Hungarian national workshop of the ATTRACTIVE DANUBE project was held in Budapest, Lechner Knowledge Center, on the 7th of March, 2018. The aim of the event was presenting the common (CO-TAMP) and national (N-TAMP) geospatial applications which can monitor territorial attractiveness through chosen indicators to interested researchers, NGOs as well as business and government sectors.

After project introduction the operation of the Platforms was demonstrated to the participants, who had the chance to try the application. In addition, other possibilities of measuring attractiveness were described by presenting trust and happiness questionnaires. Finally, the stakeholders expressed their views on the Platforms together with the methodology on comparing attractiveness indicators of the participating project countries. The event was successfully completed and many constructive ideas emerged. According to the participants, it would be necessary to apply more "soft" methods and to adapt the project results to explore territorial attractiveness in different national and international pilot areas.
