VOIDS TO POTENTIAL: AGORA

eMPOWERING cities for URBAN REGENERAtion through:

I. Peer to Peer Learning Sessions

Within three different sessions, partners shared information on their pilot projects and local experience to start a common discussion by providing ideas and examples on how to overcome bottlenecks in the development and implementation of the Urban Regeneration Agendas.

Learning objectives were tailored to the needs of the different thematic clusters:

i) large post-industrial areas, ii) un/underused public spaces, iii) un/underused commercial buildings

To promote and capitalize on the project's results, knowledge institutions, decision-makers, local and transnational stakeholders, and communities were reached in the following events:

III. CO-CREATION PROCESSES

The co-creation is one of the focal points of the Agora process. By adopting a Quadruple Helix approach, territorial partners engaged stakeholders through workshops for idea-collection, planning, and development of their Urban Regeneration Agendas.

AFTERCOVID.CITY REPORTS

Reflecting on challenges and learnings in urban development brought by the current pandemic, AGORA Cities have been holding a series of events to capitalize on this experience. Produced in synergy with the AfterCovid.City initiative, AGORA's AfterCovidCity conferences helped territorial partners target new ways of addressing participation, urban planning, and city management, learning from the current crisis.

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS &  REGENERATION AGENDAS

Final co-design actions will result in a clear strategy for urban asset reuse at the local level:

Urban Regeneration Agendas will establish channels for co-designing policies, as well as mechanisms for mainstreaming the co-produced regeneration projects. URBASOFIA will be coordinating this action together with territorial partners.
