INVITATION TO THE DANTE PUBLIC FINAL EVENT

Dear DANTE Stakeholders,

We would like to cordially invite you to the DANTE final event highlighting the findings, achievements and results of the project.

The Danube River represents a strategic link between Western and Eastern Europe, providing a catalyst for economic development in a region that spreads over 10 different European countries. Furthermore, the river is – as part of the TEN-T Core Network “Rhine-Danube” – considered as one of the main transport axis of Europe. In order to boost the economic development and social welfare of the region, DANTE aims at eliminating administrative barriers and procedures that hinder the development of inland waterway transport (IWT) at its full potential.

The DANTE project proudly represents meaningful steps forward in the successful transnational collaboration between the public and private sectors to mitigate and abolish the most common administrative barriers in a coordinated manner. Several examples of success stories underline the concrete impact of the project on the transnational level.

The final event will take place at the premises of the Danube Commission in Budapest on 29th May 2019. Further information, including the planned draft agenda and the registration form is available here: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/DANTEfinalevent.

Please register until 6th May 2019! We are looking forward to welcoming you at our event!
