COMMON DANUBE REPORT - 2016

 
 

New edition of Common Danube Report for 2016 was issued in September 2017. This Report is publication that summarizes key performance indicators related to the navigation on the Danube River.

The Report consists of several chapters concerning Danube freight transport volume, Passenger transport, Closures of Navigation on the entire Danube River, as well as Fairway parameter availability. Further, Locks statistics for the following countries: Republic of Austria, Slovak Republic, Republic of Serbia and Romania are contained in this Report, likewise data regarding the Fairway Information Services. Moreover, Common Danube Report 2016 deals with the overview of ongoing projects and initiatives.

The Common Danube Report is a tool established by waterway administrations in order to provide relevant information for navigation along the Danube River. The Board of Directors has been providing the relevant contents since 2012. The Danube Reports were developed in NEWADA and NEWADA duo projects and continued to be published in the current Danube STREAM project.
