1st call: 55 projects approved with conditions

 
 

Following the assessment of the 91 proposals submitted during the 2nd Step of the 1st Call, the Monitoring Committee of the Danube Transnational Programme has decided to approve with conditions 55 projects. The final list of approved projects will be decided on 8th December 2016.

704 partner institutions are involved in those 55 projects.

This is the result of a long process that started on September 2015 with the launch of the call. 576 Expressions of Interest were received during the 1st Step, out of which 100 were invited to submit an Application Form during the 2nd Step.

260 participants in the blue danube event

 
 

The Danube Transnational Programme organised on 29th September in Bucharest (Romania) a thematic event under the title 'BLUE DANUBE - Danube Transnational Programme: Key instrument for supporting water as a transnational resource'. More than 260 people participated in this event whose aim was to create a forum for discussion on the use, management and valorisation of water as a transnational resource.

Apart from the plenary sessions, 4 workshops were organised to foster a better preparation of future calls for proposals, the submission of innovative proposals, a better implementation of the approved projects and more capitalisation opportunities.

EUSDR PAC CALL

 

The Danube Transnational Programme provides co-financing to the activities carried out by the Priority Area Coordinators (PACs) of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR). According to the implementation of the Specific Objective 4.2., a specific call for the financial support of the EUSDR PACs was launched in September 2016. 12 proposals, one for each EUSDR Priority Area, were received by the call deadline. The DTP Managing Authority / Joint Secretariat (MA/JS) has started the analysis of these proposals.
