INVITATION - INTERNATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS MEETING IN VELENJE, SLOVENIA – 23.01.2018

Energy agency for Savinjska, Šaleška and Koroška region within the activities of the EcoInn Danube project is organizing the International Stakeholders Meeting, striving to bring together companies, public institutions, researchers and business support organizations. The event will take place in Velenje, Slovenia on the 23 of January 2018 and will be co-organized with the local enterprise incubator Start: up Velenje (SAŠA regional incubator). The aim of the meeting is to discuss common needs and requirements of the Danube region for eco-innovations focused specifically on areas of sustainable energy, environmental protection and the circular economy. Participants will gain knowledge about the challenges and opportunities their countries currently face and will jointly contribute to the development of the common transnational strategy for the Danube region through dialog aimed at sharing of ideas and perspectives. The meeting will be largely based on thematical roundtables and panels with the goal of facilitating dialogue between participants in an open and relaxed atmosphere, including the participation of experts and partners from at least 10 countries from the Danube region. In addition, it will feature the participation of local/national companies and mentors with experience in setting up business opportunities for innovative value propositions, so it will also offer a great platform for networking amongst international experts.
