Innovation Award 2019 – Call for submissions

 
 

We are looking for the best circular economy solutions!

 

The application deadline is open at www.cleantech-cluster.at/moveco until mid-February 2019.

 

In spring 2019, the EU Interreg project MOVECO will award products and services from the circular economy with the MOVECO Innovation Award. The award gives creative, future-oriented enterprises and business models from the partner countries in Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania the opportunity to present their products and services to a broad public. It includes a virtual marketplace and helps interested persons, companies and research institutions from the countries of the Danube region to exchange products, materials and resources for reuse, and to build cooperation networks to promote the circular economy. Our MOVECO partners are offering a lot of interesting workshops, activities and cooperation possibilities in all Danube region countries Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

Mobile exhibition – Exhibition on circular economy is now in Slovakia

 
 

Our MOVECO team has created a mobile exhibition on "The circular economy in the Danube region". It is travelling across various countries along the Danube region. In Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia and Austria, each country presents circular solutions with regional, national and international best practice examples in the field of circular economy.

 

Currently, the exhibition’s stop is in Bratislava in Slovakia. Next, it will travel to Nitra. If you cannot make it to Bratislava, please click here, here, here and here to get some impressions of the exhibition.

 

Stakeholder Forum in Ljubljana

 
 

On January 22nd, 2019, two MOVECO partners, the Slovenian Ministry for Environment and Spatial Planning and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, organised a cross-country stakeholder forum in Ljubljana dedicated to the following question:

 

»Do our countries need a 'clearing house' to improve implementation of extended producer responsibility for packaging (waste), (waste) electrical and electronic equipment, (waste) batteries and accumulators?«.
