54 PROJECTS APPROVED IN THE FIRST CALL

After the condition clearing process, the Monitoring Committee of the Danube Transnational Programme decided on 8th December 2016 to finally approve 54 projects in the framework of the first call for proposals.

Most of the approved projects will start their implementation activities on 1st January 2017 and they will organise their kick-off events at the beginning of next year. More information about these events will be published in the project websites (under development) as well as in the programme mainpage.

2016 has been a year full of cooperation in the Danube region. The first DTP projects have been approved under the first call for proposals, in which more than 5200 institutions from the region submitted a proposal. The programme also launched a restricted call to support the activities of the Priority Area Coordinators of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region. Moreover, several events were organised at programme level, namely the BLUE DANUBE event in September in Bucharest.

We wish to all those who have contributed in one way or another to the Danube Transnational Programme in 2016, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with lots of cooperation opportunities. 

save the date: 2nd call lead applicants seminar

The second call for proposals of the Danube Transnational Programme is planned to be launched in Spring 2017. In order to support potential applicants in the preparation of their proposals, a seminar is planned to be organised in Budapest on 9th February 2017. During the seminar, the main aspects of the application process will be presented with the aim to achieve high quality project proposals. Registration will be open through the DTP website at the beginning of 2017, with priority to be given to new applicants.
