14-01-2019

Besides the interesting sessions, the event provided a great opportunity to meet with partners, to discuss cooperation possibilities and to promote our results. We discussed future capitalization activities between DRIM and YOUMIG project and at the stand of the priority four (Well-governed Danube Region) we distributed information about DRIM project and information on DRIM output “How to set up an information platform for migrants / Lessons learned from the transnational multilingual tool Danube Compass”. The event gave us the opportunity to meet with people and institutions interested in DRIM from Danube Region and beyond, discussing with them about migration topics and building future partnerships.

One of the topics discussed between projects DRIM and YOUMIG was the increased migration of young people in Europe. In the Danube region, the migratory processes of young people have intensified in recent years which has led to difficulties at several levels of administration and local services. Regarding this, DRIM project established cooperation with YOUMIG project as the information database Danube Compass can provide a great help for the integration of young migrants.
